The Melbourne Veterinary School is delighted to partner with the Davis-Thompson Foundation to hold the first Davis-Thompson Foundation Seminar at the University of Melbourne. The seminar will be delivered by Professor Francisco Uzal from UC Davis on Gastrointestinal Pathology. Professor Uzal is the President of the Davis-Thompson Foundation and a leading expert on clostridial diseases of animals. He has published over 200 articles in peer reviewed journals, is the senior author of the chapter on “Alimentary Diseases” for the 6th edition of Jubb, Kennedy and Palmer’s Pathology of Domestic Animals (2015), and the first author of the recently published textbook on Clostridial diseases of animals (2016). The seminar will be held at the University's Werribee campus and is free to attend. Participants will be awarded four Australian Veterinary Association VetEd points. Registrations are essential.
